NOTICE OF ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF THE ASSOCIATION

TO: Delegates and Alternate Delegates of All DRYA Member Clubs and Sailing Associations, Members of the DRYA Executive Committee, Commodores of DRYA Member Clubs and Sustaining Members.

The Annual Business Meeting of the member clubs of the Detroit Regional Yacht-Racing Association will be held at Bayview Yacht Club on Thursday, November 2, 2006, beginning at 7:30 P.M. This meeting is open to all members of the DRYA addressed above. However, only the authorized delegates of the DRYA member clubs or their alternates are permitted to vote at this meeting. Each delegate of a Member Club of an Affiliated Sailing Organization shall be a Sustaining Member in good standing of DRYA.

Business to be conducted with the following agenda:

I. Roll call of Member Clubs

II. Roll call of Executive Committee Members

III. Secretary’s Report – Approval of the Minutes from the November 3, 2005 Annual Meeting

IV. Approval of the Treasurer’s Report for the 2006 Fiscal Year

V. Commodore’s Report

VI. Nominating Committee Report

VII. Election of Officers of the Association
The delegates will elect the Commodore, Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore of the Association for a term of office to end at the Annual Business meeting in the fall of 2007. The persons submitted by the Nominating Committee for your consideration:
