To All DRYA Members,

It’s that time of year. I need your input or "your hat thrown into the ring".

I’m looking for nominations for the position of PHRF Fleet Captain, Offshore One-Design Fleet Captain and Offshore One-Design C Course Fleet Captain. The Fleet Captains are representatives, for the Members, at the monthly DRYA Executive Committee meetings. They support the membership on Fleet matters, advise on course and class direction and return to the membership pertinent information from the DRYA Executive Committee meetings.

So far I have the following nominations:

Handicap Racing Fleet Captain (includes PHRF & IRC) Maynard Rupp
Offshore One-Design Fleet Captain John Barbour
Offshore One-Design C Course Fleet Captain Tom Schreiber

Please submit your nominations or your interest to become a Fleet Captain, to the DRYA Office no later than Monday, October 3, 2005. Voting will take place the following week.

Your interest on this most important matter is greatly appreciated.
