Detroit Regional Yacht-racing
Association has had a community presence in
Southeastern Michigan and Detroit with member clubs in Canada an
the United States from Port Huron/Sarnia to Toledo. Originally called
the
Detroit River Yachting Association, it
merged with the Offshore Racing Club of Detroit
in 1991 was renamed the Detroit Regional Yacht-racing
Association and was granted tax exempt
501 (c) (3) status from the Internal Revenue Service on November
16, 1992.
It's now 2010 and the DRYA is offering local businesses the opportunity to promote their business on the DRYA website by becoming a sponsor for a tax deductible donation.
